Park Plaza Arena Pula has become the first hotel in Istria to receive the gluten-free certificate. The hotel’s à la carte restaurant is the only restaurant on the Adriatic coastline with gluten-free offerings.*
Park Plaza Arena Pula is the first hotel in Istria, a famous tourist destination in Croatia, to receive the BOSK Gluten-Free Standard, as well as the only hotel on the Adriatic coastline with an à la carte restaurant with a full gluten-free menu.
The BOSK Gluten-Free Standard is intended for hoteliers and caterers, and it provides practical knowledge about the preparation of food and the serving of gluten-free dishes. It is based on scientifically-proven and globally-accepted food safety protocols, based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles, good manufacturing practise (GMP) and good hygienic practise (GHP).Park Plaza Arena Pula continues to introduce innovative programmes, including experiential technology, having introduced the unique “digital key” service where guests can access electronic locks in hotel rooms and apartments via a smartphone application. This service has provided the hotel with a competitive edge, making it the first in Croatia and one of the few in Europe with such a value added service for guests. From May 2017, hotel guests have also had access to an electric charging station for cars.
