Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts and Fight for Sight launch third annual photography competition
London, 19 July 2012 - Fight for Sight, the UK’s leading eye research charity, and Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts have teamed up for the third year to launch their annual free photography competition to find the best view of the Capital.
Open for entries on Monday 13 August 2012, this year the competition has been extended from London to also include favourite views of Berlin and Amsterdam. The ‘My View of London, Berlin and Amsterdam’ competition invites residents and visitors to each of the cities to capture their favourite views of the capitals for the chance to win some great prizes, while raising awareness of the charity’s work.
Prizes are valid at a choice of Park Plaza hotels in London, Berlin and Amsterdam and include: a two-night stay for two in a penthouse suite, a £200 Park Plaza Spa voucher, a three-course dinner for two at a Park Plaza restaurant and an annual Photofusion membership.
Entrants will be encouraged to snap and submit their best photos before 1 October 2012 in categories including Colour, Love, a New Perspective and Room with a View. This year’s new category, Carrots NightWalk, will showcase any nocturnal snapshots of the capital and images from Fight for Sight’s fundraising event on 21 September 2012.
