Park Plaza London Riverbank Elevates Meetings and Events Offering
April 2018: Park Plaza London Riverbank, located in the political, commercial and cultural heart of the capital, has bolstered its meetings and events offering by announcing a brand-new food and beverage concept for delegates: Brain Food. First trialled at the end of 2017, the menu has been designed to stimulate synapses for a more focused and productive brain.
The menu, which is part of the hotel’s ‘Science of Meetings’ campaign, means that guests can wave goodbye to boring breakfasts and lacklustre lunches and fuel themselves with everything from Goat’s Curd and Pickled Cucumber Jelly Roulade with Avocado, to Organic Goji Berries and Raspberry Spheres with Flax Seed Crumble instead. Hydration is key to keeping the brain awake, so the hotel’s Sour Cherry Immunity Boosters, Manuka Honey Organic Shots and Coconut Cleanser with Coconut Caviar provide a delicious way to boost brain power*.
Rob Flinter, who was recently awarded the accolade of Master Innholder, commented: “We have worked hard to create a package that not only sets us apart in the market, but more importantly, provides an extra element to the hotel’s meetings, events and conferences offering that is both exciting and useful for delegates that use the hotel’s facilities. Our refurbishment last year really helped set us apart, and now our Brain Food menu adds to the appeal of choosing the hotel for business requirements.”
Following the hotel’s re-launch last year, which saw the addition of 100 new bedrooms, the property now offers industry-leading meetings, events and conference facilities and can cater for everything from small meetings to residential conferences for up to 650 people. An accredited venue for Healthcare** meetings and holding AIM Gold*** accreditation for service excellence, the hotel has 24 meeting rooms to choose from, including three brand new City Suites, and a Ballroom that can hold up to 540 guests for a seated banquet that provides the ultimate backdrop for a whole range of occasions.
The Executive Lounge, located on the 12th floor of the hotel, offers the perfect space for guests and is available for exclusive hire for events and receptions. Coming with a boardroom that showcases some of the best river and skyline views in London, there isn’t a better place for business customers to catch up on emails whilst enjoying afternoon tea, cocktails or canapés. Private dining options are also available.
If that wasn’t enough, clients that book a meeting and events package at the hotel before the end of September 2018 will be entered into a prize draw to have their delegates’ doodles analysed by Graphologist Tracey Trussell! Using her expert insights into personalities, behaviour and motivations amongst other things, your delegates will never need to wonder what their mid-meeting scribbles say about them again.
