Florentine introduces Londonís largest truffle burger

Go Big or Go Home this Truffle season

November 2017: Florentine restaurant and bar, located a stone’s throw from London’s buzzing Southbank, has foraged hard this season to dig up Italy’s most sought-after commodity - the black truffle, bringing to the table a selection of show stopping dishes including the biggest gastronomic beef burger, both in size and taste.

Available from 10th November, diners can indulge Monday to Sunday, from 11:30am with a fine choice of hand-picked dishes, created by Head Chef Ryan Matheson, made with truffles carefully sourced from Umbria, Italy. Sitting pride of place is the all-new, never-seen-before, 2KG Herculean Truffle Burger. Made for sharing, this gigantic burger will feed 4-6 people, priced at £55 and guaranteed to satisfy any beloved truffle craving.

The star of the show this season. Ideal for lunch or dinner, this burger is worth saving room for. Made from 100% local British beef from Derby, sandwiched in between a 600g homemade brioche bun, it is the epitomy of indulgence with highlights including (but not limited to):

  • 1kg beef patty
  • 600g homemade brioche bun
  • x20 slices locally cured bacon
  • 6 x Portobello mushrooms
  • Beef tomatoes
  • 200g  Montgomery cheese
  • Homemade truffle mayonnaise with lashings of freshly grated truffle
  • Homemade chips, dips and sweet potato fries

Other truffle dishes include the ultimate Truffle Scrambled Egg - surprisingly light and airy, served on sourdough toast, this brunch dish is served from 11am throughout the day. Homemade flatbreads hit the spot for lunchtime fare. Well-kneeded and baked in the stone oven, these warm, doughy, pillowy bases are delicately topped with creamy ricotta, wild mushrooms and truffle.

Everyone knows that truffles are seen as one of life’s little delicacies. So why waste time in hunting them out when you can encounter the ultimate truffle experience all under one roof, any time of day. Go big or go home this truffle season at Florentine.  To make a booking, call on 0203 146 5800 or email: info@florentinerestaurant.co.uk.
