TOZI gets crafty with rare gins and Italian boutique beers

- Introducing Birrificio Del Ducato craft beers from Emilia-Romagna and an extended Italian and boutique gin menu

- Accompanying new dishes feature seasonal ingredients including prized agretti and fresh rainbow chard and borlotti

TOZI has collaborated with emerging Italian craft brewery, Birrificio Del Ducato, to refresh its drinks menu with a taste of Italy’s finest beers. New to the London restaurant scene, Birrificio Del Ducato is a small producer from Soragna in Italy’s foodie Emilia Romagna region.

Free Rider, an Indian pale ale made with American hops and notes of tropical fruit, Via Emilia, a golden ale with hints of wild mandarin and New Morning, a double fermented American pale ale, make up TOZI’s new craft beer selection.

Joining TOZI’s extensive, all-Italian wine list and boutique spirit selection are three craft Italian gins, each garnished to enhance their respective core botanicals. Gin Del Professore with hints of Juniper and lemon and garnished with liquorice, Marconi 46, flavoured with muscat grape and mountain pine served with mint and lime and Roby Marton Gin tasting of cinnamon and ginger and garnished with dried orange will provide a taster into the burgeoning Italian gin scene.

TOZI has also launched a fresh spring menu that is bursting with flavour and full of seasonal ingredients sourced from regional Italian suppliers, one being Gastronomica who runs a stall in Borough Market. Agretti, described as the “vegetable chefs are fighting over” (source), will feature on the menu alongside yellow courgette, fennel, borlotti beans and rainbow chard.

Head Chef Maurilio Molteni has also been sure to retain TOZI’s much-loved classics on the menu including Gratinated scallops Venetian style and the restaurant’s signature dish, Buffalo ricotta ravioli & black truffle.

Known for specialising in Venetian-style cicchetti (small sharing plates) and classic Italian cocktails, TOZI offers the perfect atmosphere to experience traditional Italian dishes and dining culture without having to leave the country. All the sharing dishes are inspired by the casual dining ethos of the Veneto region, putting emphasis on quality ingredients.
