The Pula Arena, Croatia welcomes the World Cup

13 June 2014 - The 1st century Roman amphitheatre in Pula, a scene of historical signaficance including historical gladiatorial battles welcomed local residents and tourists alike to enjoy a different type of content last night, 12 June 2014: the live broadcast of the FIFA World Cup opening game, Brazil vs Croatia on a HD resolution screen. Local DJ Marko Londer opened the entertainment programme from 7pm with free entrance for all.

The impressive Arena is one of the prime attractions for guests at the brand new Park Plaza Belvedere Medulin, just a short drive away, boasting six of its own FIFA-sized football pitches amongst other first-class sporting facilities.
