Dave Shilling looked after us throughout the event and seem to have a sixth sense to whenever he was needed, always being in the right place at the right time to help out and solve any issues that arose. He ensured that our event went without a glitch and his service to us and the charity was second to none - he was fantastic, couldn't ask for more from him, we were blown away by his level of detail and customer care and I don't know what we would do without him!
All the staff were fantastic; Greg and Stewart and their team were incredible, and everyone comments on how spectacular the food was on the night - so big compliments to the chef too.

From our very first meeting with Katrina Kirkwood (Assistant Meeting & Events Planning Manager) we knew we were in safe hands. Katrina’s professionalism and tenacious approach meant that myself and my colleague could keep track of the project planning throughout.
There were a number of great services that Katrina and the hotel provided throughout the planning, one being unlimited access to the hotel itself, which enabled myself and my colleague to make numerous trips when deciding on decor, meeting with bands, food sampling, wine tasting and being shown the rooms that our guests would be staying in. Katrina also helped us with getting the right supplier so we could keep within budget, which for us was very important! All these things helped shape the event in our minds and helped us visualise what the night would look like to us and our guests.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The function room where we held our event was for over 300 people and the space was just perfect. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. From setting up the room, to getting the lighting just right, to putting the finishing touches on the tables as per our request – they were incredible.
The food which they served along with the wine was excellent – thankfully, all our guests were blown away so at least we know we made the right choices!!
The feedback that we received from all our guests was that they thought the event was our best yet – they loved the hotel, the staff, their rooms, and the food, and thought the location was fantastic.
I can’t thank Katrina and her team enough for making our very special night a night/event to remember and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to put on a show.
