Directions: Take the ring road into Eindhoven and take the exit Eindhoven Centrum / Tongelre. This brings you to a large roundabout with a fountain in the middle (this is the 'Floraplein'). Go straight ahead (you are now on the 'Leenderweg') until you reach a set of traffic lights where you have a large shop called KOEK in front of you. Go straight ahead and turn right at the traffic lights (this is the 'Geldropseweg'). You will find Park Plaza Mandarin Eindhoven in front of you on the left.

When Eindhoven outgrew its medieval moat boundaries during the Industrial Revolution, it absorbed five neighboring communities to become Groot-Eindhoven ("Greater Eindhoven"). The prefix has since been dropped.
