Historic Ermelerhaus - Meeting Rooms in Central Berlin

The house was originally built in 1567 at Breite Strasse 11 and was named after the tobacco dealer Ferdinand-Wilhelm Ermeler, who purchased it in 1824. In the middle of the 18th century, the Ermelerhaus was extended to a Rococo Palace with characteristic wall and ceiling paintings, statues, reliefs and supraporten.

With a range of cultural events, it became an important intellectual meeting place in Berlin. In the 1960s, the house was torn down at Breite Strasse and rebuilt here at Märkisches Ufer. Hence forward the Ermelerhaus was one of the top addresses for fine dining in Berlin.
